Web-Based Panorama Image Viewer

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is the implementation of panoramic viewer of videos and images with use of WebGL. Thesis is focussing on processing videos in fisheye mode without having to convert them to equirectangular projection. Between other aspects of this thesis belongs the improvement of panoramic viewer with compass or with information about viewers angle.

Video sequence for supporting audio signal processing classes

This bachelor theses deals with making of instructional video for supporing audio signal processing classes. The theses is divided into three parts. The firs part is theoretical analysis of spatial effects, processing in time domain and processing in frequency domain. The second part is practical realization of effect panorama, moorers reberator, algorithm PSOLA and algorithm for robotization. The third part of theses is dealing with settings of Windows Media Encoder, which is suitable software for capturing video during a work on signal processing in Matlab and Simulink. The output of the thesis are two instructional videos, that should demostrate signal processing in Simulink.

New town hall for the district Brno-North

The building site is situated on the interesection of Třída Genrála Píky and Provazníkova streets in Brno. In the neighboring building there are commercial and administrative spaces. The main crossroad was redesigned to minimize the residual traffic areas. Based on urbanistic study we designed the corner high-rise dominant. We create a point of view at the skyline of Brno. By pushing back the volume we have a small square. Central comunication core allows transparent facade.

FIT Inner Stereopanorama

This bachelor thesis is about combination of stereoscopic and panoramic photography. It describes creation of panoramas especially by stitching a set of images. Principles of depth perception and possibilities of stereoscopic images projection are discussed. This thesis includes software for presentation stereopanoramic pictures of Faculty of Information Technology interiors on the Internet and its description.

Panoramic Photo Creation

This thesis contains a comparison of approaches to implementation of the panoramic photos. There are analyzed partial steps to create panoramas and access methods that are used for these steps. There is a preview of the methods and schedules their advantages and disadvantages. Also included is a comparison of these methods and evaluation of their usability.

City Apartment House Brno-Sadova

The bachelor thesis is based on the studio project of residential buildings. The project develops architectural study of city apartment house on the Kociánka street in Brno. The basis for processing is the urban study, which allows for the development of family and apartment buildings. The proposed building structure is connected to the existing buildings. The idea is based on the form of the building blocks that the procedure is divided into several parts. Blocks are rotated to obtain the best vision from the living space. The result is a unique geometric shape. Big windows on the south side provide enough light. Apartment house has three floors. Basement and two floor. Basement has garage and technical technical background. Above-ground has two main entrances leads to two residential units. Around the building is enough green space planted with trees for use in the summer months to relax.

Merging and Correction of Photos

The aim of this work is to design and implement an application using an OpenCV library. This paper describes issues of correct photo merging, attempts to eliminate defects which were created in process of taking these photos and which may occur in the actual merging process.

Gallery aviation technology and traditions of aviation at the airport Medlánky in Brno

The main subject of the diploma project was to create architecture study for new building of a Gallery for sport aircrafts and their traditions and other equipment that cooperate with this topic. The Gallery is designed in Brno´s Medlanky municipality and it is incorporated on current local sport airport. This project was preceded by studio project on the same area, which included reconstruction and development of this airport area. In this diploma project I was trying to continue with this development and establish a design which would react to my earlier design. The site has a sloped character and it separated from a dense city area. Starting point for the design was to gently touch the landscape and also trying to find certain references directly in the closest surrounding. From the views to surrounding was created the idea to preserve the horizontal lines and with a landscape and constructions demands was created the main idea to continue with the landscape over the spatial structure. The need to cover large-scale exhibit items like aircrafts and other items from this topic led to a starting point of my design. The structure is formed as a spatial truss structure and dominates the exhibition space. Building is connected by program and structure to services and other areas like conference hall, coffee, study room, work room and administration. As a one building it teems mainly from arrival at the airport area when the roofing is an organic, monolithic surface disappearing in surrounding. But gallery itself emerges from the ground and opens towards the aircraft take off and departure area where it is also direction of a main view to the surrounding. The building is also unique for its entering, such as the main entrance through narrow staircase gap in the roof. This entrance should evoke to people an aircraft landing, where while descent plane dive in to the clouds and appear underneath above a whole new landscape. Sanatorium with Speleotherapy Ostrov u Macochy

The topic of my master’s thesis was to create an architectural study of Hospital with Speleotheraphy in Ostrov u Macochy. Sanatorium provides expert care to children suffering diseases of the respiratory tract, particular allergic and infections. Operation of the building is intended primary for children od preschool age. The building was divided into two main section. It ensures a conflict-free, natural traffic - two interconnected buildings. These buildings were carefully planted in the landscape of the Moravian Karst and contribute to teh development of Ostrov u Macochy.
